The Aerospace and Defence sector in India is up for modernisation and indigenisation under ‘Make in India’ (i.e., Aatmanirbhar Bharat) and MoD has already rolled out a positive indigenisation list in this regard. The defence simulators are supposed to be an important part of this indigenisation the process to replace obsolete equipment and up grade long term capability for in-house design and developments of various defence fleet types. Make in India is a major national programme of the Government of India designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation, enhance skill development, protect intellectual property and build best in class manufacturing infrastructure in the country. The primary objective of this initiative is to attract investments from across the globe and strengthen India’s manufacturing sector.

Aviacom has the more than 15 years of experience and expertise in Flight Simulation products and related services. Aviacom was among the firsts to introduce certified flight simulators in India with Flying training organizations.

The JV company (Foreign OEM) has established profile and proven expertise of 30 years across the globe for defence simulator and is among one of the key suppliers of FTD’s supplied to various Military forces across the globe and has also experience of Indian market for 15 years.
