Aviacom has supported Pilatus Aircrafts Ltd. for FTDs supplied to Indian Air Force for more than 9 years with a track record of more than 95% serviceability.
The Aerospace and Defence sector in India is up for modernisation and indigenisation under ‘Make in India’ (i.e., Aatmanirbhar Bharat) and MoD has already rolled out a positive indigenisation list in this regard. The defence simulators are supposed to be an important part of this indigenisation the process to replace obsolete equipment and up grade long term capability for in-house design and developments of various defence fleet types.
Make in India is a major national programme of the Government of India designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation, enhance skill development, protect intellectual property and build best in class manufacturing infrastructure in the country. The primary objective of this initiative is to attract investments from across the globe and strengthen India’s manufacturing sector.
Aviacom has more than 17 years of experience and expertise in Flight Simulation products and related services. Aviacom was among the firsts to introduce certified flight simulators in India with Flying training organizations.
Aviacom has the capability for production and maintenance of all possible fleet simulators required by Indian Armed Forces at Economical cost and Superior quality, under Make in India (collaboration with foreign equipment manufacturer for production in India). Aviacom is open to join hands with other OEM’s to explore Indian Defence market.
